Privacy Policy

Maai is built and operated by Pat Barlow. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we handle it.

What we collect

• Email address — used only for sign-in via magic link / one-time passcode. We do not use it for marketing or share it with third parties.
• Wishlist and product data — the URLs, product details, and lists you create, stored to provide the service.
• Price and stock data — fetched from third-party product pages you add, to power price tracking and alerts.
• Crash and error reports — anonymised diagnostic data sent to Sentry to help us fix bugs. No personally identifiable information is included.

What we don't collect

We do not collect advertising identifiers, precise location data, contacts, browsing history, or any data beyond what is described above.

How we use your data

Solely to provide Maai's features: authenticating you, storing your wishlists, tracking prices, and delivering the alerts you request.

Third-party services

• Supabase — database and authentication. supabase.com/privacy
• Sentry — crash reporting. sentry.io/privacy

Data retention

Your data is retained while your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Settings screen inside the app.

Children

Maai is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
